This painting always reminds me of a horse I had when I was a kid. He was meaner than sin but he was always waiting at the corner of his pasture, across from my bus stop, every week day afternoon. He would prance and kick up his heals along the fence line, following me as I walked home. A nice memory.

I was looking through photos of some of my work from a few years ago and ran across this one. It's a graphite and charcoal drawing of a young Friesian stallion. I wish I could remember his name and the name of the person he belonged to. I think it might have been Cosmo? Do any of you Friesian people out there recognize him?
