Blue View - Urban Cityscape Skyscraper Plane Amberson Art

"Blue View" - An Artists Perspective

I love working with a simple palette and I love the color blue. This painting fulfilled both of those loves. The perspective also intrigued me because I'm profoundly afraid of heights. I won't fly in a plane and I am very uncomfortable in high places. I guess the subject matter was a tantalizing mixture of sweet and sour for me as an artist. ~ Tanya

This acrylic painting is on gallery wrapped 6"x6" canvas. The sides have been painted so it can be displayed with or without a frame. I've applied a semi gloss varnish that gives the painting a lustrous finish as well as extra protection.

A wonderful painting from an amazing perspective! It makes me feel as if I am there, looking up with you. I share your feelings about high places and airplanes. Never rode in one until last year when I was given no choice.
